In 2020, the world faced an emerging Coronavirus pandemic. Everyday life came to a halt in an attempt to “stop the spread”. Preventative measures like social distancing and mask mandates went into effect. These efforts were marked by various signs and notices placed all over the globe. Since then, while the world has tried to move on, COVID-19 has become endemic, still mutating and spreading. Many of the preventative measures that were put in place at the emergence of the pandemic are no longer being followed. Still, just as COVID-19 lingers around, so do some of the reminders. These are the signs of the times.
